Surveys

Universal Signs employs technicians highly trained to conduct a multitude of surveys customized to fit your every need.  

Surveys Available:

Full Technical Site Survey –  Our technician will obtain measurements of linier storefront, Office Space (square footage), Sign Band, Fascia, Windows, Doors, Additional Signage (strip mall permitting requirement), Multi-Tenant, Pylon and/or Monument Signs.

Fabrication & Installation Survey – This survey is design to focus on specified items of interest for the purpose illumination retrofits, face replacements or updated graphics. Our technician will obtain measurements of existing signage, pylon panels, multi-Tenant panels, Monument signs and Awnings.

Night Survey – When requested or required our technicians perform night surveys to verify illumination, diagnose coloration issues, cracked or broken faces, EMS system outages and intermediate outages.

All completed surveys will include digital photos, PMS color codes, diagram of Service location and measurements.  

Permitting

Universal Signs permitting department welcomes you to take advantage of our extensive knowledge of building codes, planning and zoning jurisdictions and municipalities. Permitting services are available for signs manufactured and installed by Universal Signs. Third party permitting is available upon request.
